Sony PC companion is available for Windows platforms.It requires at least Intel® Pentium®4 or later processor; a 2GB RAM to run the software nicely. Using ‘Support Zone’, the user can download the latest software to get the best out of its new Xperia™ C. ‘Xperia™ Transfer’ is a tool with which user can move content from an old mobile to its new Xperia™ C.
The ‘Contact Setup’ helps to copy the contacts from an old phone & computer to your new Xperia™ C. Using ‘Media Go’, user can access, manage media files on the computer, in the phone. Using ‘Sync Zone’, user can synchronize contacts,calendar with the computer. With this application, your new Xperia™ C; your computer can sync wirelessly via Google™. But this application does not support local sync using USB cable. The ‘File manager’ helps you to manage the files present on your device.
Media Go helps to find, organize, optimize the songs, movies, TV shows, games, photos on Windows® computers or portable device including PSP™ system, Walkman, Sony Tablet™, Xperia™ tablet, Xperia™ smart phones; other mobile phones. User can view the space usage, configure synchronization; can take back up of devices.
For Mac®, Sony has provided Sony Bridge which can update Android phone software, transfer media between your phone & iTunes, iPhoto or a custom folder on Mac®. It requires MacOS version 10.6 or later with 1GHz processor; 512MB RAM.
