Install Google Calendar

Calendar plays an important role in the phone and Android devices are provided with good calendar app which is replaced by the manufacturers with some of the inferior calendar apps. If you need to get the official calendar app then all you need to do is get Google’s official Google Calendar app for the best experience and integration with Calendar on Google.

Like of Google keyboard this app was only provided by the manufacturer but now you won’t need to get isolated with Google Calendar app. Get this app from Google Play store and sync with all your to-do list and integrate with all other information with the help of Google service.

Replace Your Lock Screen

If you are Android lover then you will love to customize the screen of your phone with different lock screen. Google does not provide with any default lock screen in Play store, but you are provided with many of the similar apps which will provide you with the same experience of the default lock screen. Download it from Play store or search for Holo Locker and install it on your phone which will provide you with the same lock function and looks like on Android’s 4.1 lock screen.

Other Official Google Apps

There are many official Google apps available on Play store and all this Google apps are not provided with these default apps, for example most of the phones are provided with Google earth app but some are not provided with any app. So for this you need to go to the Apps by Google page and choose the apps which you need to get on your Android device.

Unofficial Ports of Stock Apps

Most of the apps like of the Gallery, Camera, clock apps and Calculator were not available in Play store so for this some of the developers have developed some of the unofficial versions and made them available on Play store. So if you are not happy with the manufacturer’s app version then you can go to Play store and download these unofficial apps onto your phone.

Another method to get a complete stock Android experience on your device is to flash your device with the new ROM. Flashing a ROM will help you with experienced complete stock Android and will help you to install many other apps which is not provided by Android.

So you must try out with custom ROM available for your phone like of CyanogenMod which helps you to feel same like of stock Android experience. If you are having the device like Samsung S4 or HTC One then you can easily get a Google Play Edition ROM onto your device that too from Google. CyanogenMod just provides you with freedom of installing many apps which were not possible with Google’s official ROM so this helps to customize your phone in different manner.
