Galaxy grand 2 has the looks of fancy phones without the wallet busting price. Last year in December Samsung launched the Galaxy Grand, however it had a more basic specification. Now, nearly a year later, Galaxy Grand 2 is announced. Samsung has set a benchmark of its own in the marketplace. The series of Smartphones being launched by Samsung for all consumer class is the primary thrust for its popularity.

Samsung Galaxy Grand

The device looks like a slightly chunky mix of a Note3 and Samsung galaxy S4. The Galaxy Grand 2 has a 5.25-inch TFT touchscreen – no Super AMOLED .The result is a rather acceptable 1280×720 pixels. Inside, the Galaxy Grand 2 runs on an unnamed 1.2 GHz quad-core CPU and has a RAM configuration of 1.5 GB. Internal memory is 8GB but the external MicroSD slot is expandable up to 64 GB. It has an 8 megapixel Auto Focus rear camera and a 1.9 megapixel camera in front. It has Bluetooth 4.0, WI-fi and GPS + Glonass connectivity. On the software side, the Galaxy Grand 2 will be running Android 4.3 which can help it connect to the Samsungs amazing new feature smart watch called as gear and covered it in TouchWiz. Let us hope that it can be upgraded to Android 4.4 post-launch. It will be used Samsung’s custom TouchWiz interface and has Multi Window support. It seems to have dragged in some of the more useful applications from the company’s high-end devices. The leather-look rear cover of Galaxy Note 3 is being given to Samsung galaxy grand 2 which depends on your own personal view, is either really bit tacky or cool. The phone will be available in black, white or pink color with a thickness of 8.9mm and weighs 163 grams .The camera app includes Continuous shot, Best Face, as well as the feature which debuted in Samsung galaxy S4 that is sound and chat feature.

The brand has not declared its availability and pricing. As it has mid-range specifications it will be available in low price to by keeping competitors in mind and as it is still committed to expanding options at the more affordable end of the market. With this specification can it be called as smaller Note 3?
