For all the tablet lovers out there, especially for the Sony Xperia Z Tablet lovers, there is really amazing news for you all. Finally after a long wait, Android 4.3 JellyBean has been made available for tablets. And the best of all is that Sony finally has finished developing their custom UI over the official Android 4.3 and now is rolling it out slowly with OTA updates. But we are all very impatient people here who don’t want to wait but want it all immediately. So that is why we have brought to you a method for installing the official Android 4.3 JellyBean on your Sony Xperia Z Tablet but manually.

First of all we need to give credit to the ones who have worked hard on compiling the setups and Android Packages for the install. If it was not for them, we would have had needed to wait a long time to get the updates in the Tablets. So now that we have the stuff available, we can finally get with it and complete the updating process.

The procedure is actually very simple and does not take much time as well. The only requirement here is that you get the install setup software and the Android version. But for that you do not to run helter-skelter everywhere. We have provided all the softwares to you right here in the links below from where you can acquire the softwares and Android version to install in your Sony Xperia Z Tablet.

Xperia Tablet Z

There are two main softwares that you require for this updation process, one is the flashtool which is technically a wizard that guides you through the process and does the job for you. The second one is the Android zip file containing the actual Android 4.3 OS. The links for both are given below.

Official Android 4.3 JellyBean for Sony Xperia Z Tablet:

(In the link, select the first option i.e. “SGP321_10.4.B.0.569_CE.rar”. also on the link they might even ask you to register before being able to download. So you might have to do that and it does not take more than 2 minutes. So that should not be an issue.)

After you have downloaded both the files then comes some really simple small steps for installing the official Android 4.3 in your tablet.

  1. Sony has actually started sending out the official updates OTA, so if you are one of the lucky ones who have received this update, just you can check it in the firmware version in the settings menu. Then in that case you need not want to go through this manual update process.
  2. Acquire the flashtool from the link given above which you must have already done it by now.
  3. Acquire the Android 4.3 JellyBean also from the link provided above which also you must have downloaded by now.
  4. After both the files have been downloaded, then in the directory of the flashtool, search for a folder which will be named “Firmware”. In that folder cope paste the Android 4.3 File that you have downloaded.
  5. Now open the flashtool software (you need to run it like any other software).
  6. In there just follow the steps and keep clicking “next” to whatever it prompts and at the section where it asks for the firmware, select the downloaded file and you are set.
  7. One small warning here, it is always better to get your complete data backed up just in case. Though there is an option here to keep all your data in the tablet. All you need to do is, while the OS is being flashed, just uncheck the “userdata.sin” file and all your data will not be deleted. But the issue is that it causes some complications later like file clashes and stuff, so it is always recommended that you back up the data, flash the whole thing and then restore your data back in the tablet. This way there will be way less chances of issues coming up.
  8. After that turn off your tablet and when the flashtool shows a window to connect your tablet, connect your tablet to the PC via a USB cable and make sure to boot your tablet in download mode by pressing the power and volume down button.
  9. After that let the flashtool do the rest and within some time you will be done.

Congratulations, your Sony Xperia Z Tablet is finally running official Android 4.3 JellyBean with the custom Sony UI and also the new apps and features in it. So do not forget to comment down below what you feel about the new official Android 4.3 JellyBean and how is your experience with it.

Only a fortnight ago we welcomed the news that Samsung is rolling out Android 4.3 jelly bean for Galaxy S3 along with an updated version of Android and Galaxy Gear support for Galaxy S3 users. But users have to wait little longer as it seems there is some problems with latest firmware from Samsung. Samsung UK said they’re looking into the issues which UK users came across while updating latest Android version. So, the Galaxy S 3 update has been pulled from Kies and the OTA service has been suspended.

We hope Samsung resolves the issues speedily and resumes the update roll-out shortly. We hope Samsung resolves this issue quickly and resumes the update roll-out briefly. The Galaxy S3 skipped Android 4.2.2 and its owners are waiting since the official 4.1 Jelly Bean ROM was released in 2012 to get a newer Android version. If you have already updated the newer version you might be facing some issues.

samsung galaxy S3

I’m simply listing all the issues below which are being faced by all different Galaxy S3 users

  • Unresponsive Handset
  • Huge battery drain
  • Bluetooth Audio issues during playback
  • Very difficult to multi-task
  • Wake up lag
    Random Freezing
  • Device freezes as soon a call is received
  • Wi-Fi issues
  • Stuttering music playback with stock Samsung music app
  • Locking and unlocking the screen
  • System hanging drawback that needed the battery to be force dead set restart the Smartphone.

You will probably be getting a new software update soon repairing these problems. whereas if you are haven’t updated your phone, you will have to delay for Samsung to rectify the issues and issue a new programs update construct, which will be accessible via the common media. The only thing we can do now is to have patience and wait till Samsung come up with good news regarding updates.

How to install Android 4.3 on Samsung Galaxy Core I8260

Android 4.3 JellyBean is the latest officially released version of Android. Though Google is very near to launching the new Android 4.4 KitKat, it is still time until it reaches your devices as it is a lot dependant on the carriers and manufacturers to push the update on your phone. That is one issue with Android, but we can always get its version online and manually install it right? So if you happen to have a Samsung Galaxy Core, then you can get Android 4.3 JellyBean installed into it now without waiting for Samsung to release it for you.

samsung galaxy core

Some Warnings to be noted:

Samsung has not released an official version of Android 4.3 JellyBean for the Galaxy Core yet, so do make sure that when you install this version, you will be voiding your warranty of the phone. You need to make sure that you have a rooted device with unlocked bootloader and CWM Recovery or TWRP recovery installed on it. Also do make sure to follow all the steps to the “T” else you might end up bricking your phone. You do not want that to happen now do you? Also you tinkering with the ROM and flashing it might cause damage to your device, and if that happens, then we are no ways responsible for it. So you may try it out at your own risk.

Backing up your important data before starting any installation is very important. Installing new firmware means flashing your entire phone’s memory and that means losing all your phone data. Perform a NanDroid backup of your current ROM/Firmware. This can be done by selecting the backup/restore option on your recovery. This is highly recommended as you can restore your current ROM or firmware if anything goes wrong. Also make sure to back up at least your contacts, messages, call logs and apps.

Before you start with the installation process you will need to download all the required softwares. So for that first of all you will need the Android 4.3 JellyBean zip file and the Odin software. Make sure that USB debugging option on your phone has been turned on. If not then you can do this by following this path; Settings > About Phone > Developer options > USB Debugging. Also make sure the phone’s battery is charged full to make sure that is does not run out of juice halfway through the installation process.

1. First step always to any software solution is to acquire the software in the first place. So you will need to download the software on your system.

2. After downloading the file, you will get a Zip file. On unzipping the file, you will get two files in it with the extension “.md5” and a file with the extension .tar

3. After that download software called Odin 3.09, and open and unpack the .zip also.

4. Launch Odin.

5. Then reboot your Galaxy Core in download mode. You can do this by long pressing the Volume Up, Power and Home button all at the same time.

6. Connect your Galaxy Core via USB cable to your computer and wait for Odin to recognize it. A blue box should then appear (in the program).

7. Add: 5 to AP

8. Before going ahead and pressing Start, do make sure that the re-partition box is not checked.

9. Click Start and wait a few minutes until the procedure ends. Do not disconnect your phone, be patient. The screen might go blank in this process, nothing to panic there as well, it is perfectly normal.

10. After the process finishes, then your Galaxy Core restarts and then you are done.

Make a note that the Android 4.3 for the Galaxy Core is the Vanilla Android version which you get in the Nexus phones and not the one with TouchWiz UI. So do not be upset and enjoy the new version with all the amazing features that come along with it. It will be some time until the official release for the Galaxy Core to arrive and then that comes, you can always root your device back to the original 4.1 version which comes pre-loaded for which you have taken a backup and then go to settings and receive the update OTA. So now after this you will be perfectly set with the new version of android. Now it is time to explore it and enjoy.

The Android 4.3 JellyBean update has been officially announced and the rolling has begun in Canada as of this moment. It will arrive soon at your location too depending on how eager HTC is to push their current version OTA. There are reports that the international version has also started to arrive but a hefty 676 MB file OTA can be a bit tedious. So for those who do not have a Wi-Fi connection and want to update the Android to 4.3 manually, do follow the article and get it. So now let’s check out the installation of Android 4.3 JellyBean on the HTC One.

Do note that installing updates to your phone manually, flashing ROMs and fiddling with your official softwares could have some intermittent risks. Also considering that this is an official version, there won’t be many problems. But it is always better not take risks. So please make sure that you know what you are doing here. Make sure you follow all the steps properly and it will all be fine. But still just a disclaimer that there are risks involved in this and any damage caused to the device or any firmware or software while you tinkering with it is none of my responsibility. Now with this we shall start.

Step – 1. First of all you will need to download the software. Without that you cannot move further ahead. So you will need to download the software. You can download the software from various sources available all over the internet.

Step – 2. After downloading the file, you will get a Zip file which you have to unzip. On unzipping the file, you will get two files in it with the extension “.md5” and a file with the extension .tar

Step – 3. After that download software called Odin 3.09 and open and unpack the .zip also.

Step – 4. Launch Odin.

Step – 5. Then reboot your HTC One in download mode. You can do this by long pressing the Volume Up, Power and Home button all at the same time. This way you will enter a completely new interface known as Download mode.

Step – 6. Connect your HTC One via USB cable to your computer and wait for Odin to recognize it. A blue box should then appear in the program giving the confirmation.

Step – 7. Add the file 5 to AP

Step – 8. Before going ahead and pressing Start, do make sure that the re-partition box is not checked.

Step – 9. Click Start and wait a few minutes until the procedure ends. Do not disconnect your HTC One, be patient. The screen might go blank in this process which is nothing to panic about, it is perfectly normal. During this the new software is being installed and hence there is nothing to display on the phone.

Step – 10. After the process finishes, then your HTC One will restart and then it is done!

Please note some important things here. This is the officially released version of the HTC One 4.3 JellyBean in Canada and many other parts of the world as well. So it is risk free and will eventually come over in your country as well soon depending on when HTC comes into the mood. To check that, you can go into Settings > About Device > Software update > Update. But also remember an important thing that this update is only for the HTC Sense version and not the Google Play Version. Plus this update if for the international version of the HTC One. So if you have a carrier oriented HTC One, then do clear it out with your carrier as to if this will work or should you wait for their own version.

So get the new Android 4.3 JellyBean on your HTC One and enjoy all the new amazing features like the new HTC Sense 5.5 and myriad of other great features, a new camera interface and features and many more.

Android 4.3 JellyBean is up and running now on the Nexus devices but the problem with it is that cell companies don’t quite provide it immediately to its all models as soon as they have to work on a new overlay which they provide on their phones above the original Android. But in this case we need to thank the Cyanogen team for their hard work which has provided us with a working version of Android 4.3 optimized for the Sony Xperia Z1. This is not the officially released version, so please make a note of that. So if you wish to install this version on the Xperia Z1, then follow all the steps mentioned below and it will be done very easily.

Some Warnings to be noted:

First of all you need to remember that when you do this, you will be voiding the warranty of the phone. So you won’t be viable for any free service from Sony. Secondly you need to make sure that you have a rooted device with unlocked bootloader and CWM Recovery or TWRP recovery installed on it. To avoid data clashes, backups are needed to be taken before continuing with the procedure.

cyanogenmod 10.2

First perform a NanDroid backup of your current ROM/Firmware. This can be done by selecting the backup/restore option on your recovery. This is highly recommended as you can restore your current ROM or firmware if anything goes wrong. Apart from this you also need to back up your messages, call logs, contacts and your apps. After all this do make sure that you note down your APN settings somewhere. These will come in handy later.

Make sure that USB debugging option on your phone has been turned on. If not then you can do this by following this path; Settings > About Phone > Developer options > USB Debugging. Make sure that all the drivers of the Z1 are installed on your computer and if not, then do install them before beginning. And finally always use original or good quality USB cables as you do not want them to falter in between. Also make sure your phone has a minimum of 90% charge so that it does not shut down in between the process.

Now before you start your process you will need to install the required files, so you get them from here.

Click on this link to download Fastboot and install on your computer. (

Download the Xperia Z1 Cyanogen Mod 10.2 version zip file from here. ( Finally the Google Apps package, you can get it from here. (

NOTE: Do not unzip the Cyanogen MOD and Google Apps package.

1. After downloading the above zip files, open the ROM zip file and extract the boot.img file to your desktop. Now connect your Xperia Z1 to the computer and move both the zip files from your computer to the device’s SD card storage. Make sure that the files are kept in the open and not in any folder.

2. Now disconnect your device and boot it into Fastboot mode by first turning your phone off and then on again by pressing “Volume Up”. While pressing volume up, connect your device to the computer via the USB cable.

3. Now launch Fastboot on your computer and select the Fastboot flash boot option and choose the boot.img file that you extracted earlier to the desktop.

4. After flashing the boot.img file, disconnect your Xperia Z1 and boot into your custom recovery mode by pressing Volume up + Home button + Power button. Now select clear cache, then dalvik cache under the advanced option. Go back to the recovery menu and select the data wipe-out option.

5. After the data wipe-out is complete, choose the Install option and select the Jelly Bean 4.3 CM 10.2 ROM file that you moved to your SD card storage earlier. After that’s done, do the same for the Google Apps package by going to install option again.

6. Now go back to the recovery menu and hit the reboot option and you are done.

7. After you have selected to reboot, you’re just a few minutes of reboot away from tasting the CyanogenMod ROM based on Jelly Bean 4.3 on your Sony Xperia Z1.

Do have some patience because the first boot usually takes quite some time. So do not panic if your phone does not start up for quite some time, but that should not be more than 15 minutes. If it is greater, means something has gone wrong and you might have to repeat the process to rectify it. Also this is an optimized version for the Sony Xperia Z1 and hence please do not use this on any other device as this will end up hampering the device. So enjoy the new Android 4.3 JellyBean experience and do let us know what you feel about it in the comments below.

Apple iPhone 5S vs LG G2

September is the month when the whole world awaits for the new launch of the masterpiece and September 2013 also proved the same, as this month two phones will battle to prove their supremacy Apple 5S and LG G2. The world was waiting for the next installment of iPhone and finally it has arrived in the market and already set the record of sales. Same with the LG’s new flagship as this phone is also released and acquiring market fast. We are here to discuss the features and specifications of both the phones and finally will make a conclusion about the phone’s supremacy in terms of features and specifications.

Build and Design:

Both the phones are well designed and looks of both the phones are just amazing. If we talk about Apple iPhone 5S then there is no much advancement in the design feature of this phone but still this phone is the best in class in design and build quality as the body is pleasing, robust aluminum with a full glassy finish which makes this phone as best fit on your hands. LG G2 is designed perfectly as a phablet with huge screen and making this phone not easy to handle. Body and design have been just perfect for phablet segment but is made of plastic so while we carry LG and Apple together you will find the design and build quality of Apple iPhone 5S is a lot more comfortable and superior. So when we talk about build quality and design of these two powerful contenders then you will definitely give all your votes to Apple phone.

Apple iPhone 5S

Features and Specs:

These two phones are filled with super features and specifications and will discuss both of them. Apple iPhone 5S have a 4 inch display like of its previous flagship and which makes this phone very convenient to use. While we talk about LG G2 than the screen size of this phone is 5.2 inches which makes this phone very big in all the terms while we compare it to Apple iPhone 5S.

Apple sports screen of 4 inches with the resolution of 640 x 1136 pixels and packed with 326 ppi which was same on the previous Apple phone but there is lots of improvement in display features like image enhancement, contrast and picture quality has been improved from previous Apple phone. In other hands Lg G2 sports with 5.2 inch display having 1920 X 1080 resolution having 424 ppi making this phone much superior than of Apple phone so if we talk about screen size and clarity then LG G2 is better than Apple iPhone 5S.

Processing Power:

As we all know that both the phones are just superb and powerful, so now we will test both in terms of power too. Apple iPhone 5S is the provided with the best Apple processor of A7 dual-core processors but along with this Apple has brought new 64 bit architecture on a Smartphone and iPhone 5S is the pioneer of this architecture. Phone performs perfectly with this configuration and has passed all the benchmark tests. Apple iPhone 5S will run on iOS 7.

LG G2 is powered with Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor the latest and the best out there, Apples’s iphone is powered by a A7 chip. The LG G2 along with powerful chipset has 2 GB RAM memory for super fast processing of instructions. The performance of this phone is also great and passes the benchmark test and is the most powerful phone in Android segment. If we talk about the power of both Apple and LG phone then we can make a conclusion that LG G2 has a powerful hardware configuration than of Apple.

Both the phones are just incredible and best in class so with all the comparison, we can say LG has much better hardware than of Apple but when it comes to hardware and software integration no one does it like Apple. Price of LG G2 is much cheaper than on the Apple phone but Apple does offer various contract rates via its partners so keep an eye out for a good deal.
