PS VR, formerly known as Project Morpheus is a VR Set that run on, of course, Playstation 4. Even though looked like a full VR System, it is rather an accessory for PS4. Compared to PC Driven VR Headsets, PS VR’s screen resolution is particularly lower. It uses the PS4 Camera to track your head’s movement and can be controlled using the PS4 controller or the Playstation Move’s motion controls.

4. Samsung Gear VR
Now, let’s head into the field of Mobile Virtual Reality starting with Samsung Gear VR. It could be called the Mobile Version of Oculus Rift as the two companies collaborated in developing this VR device. It is made for Samsung Phones, along with different Samsung Gear VR versions for different mobile phones. Using it is easy, just slide up your phone in front of the headset and start your VR Experience with your phone.

5. Google Cardboard
Then, let’s head into the cheapest one, the Google Cardboard. It looked basically like cardboard folded to fit in your smartphone. The hardware cost is very minimal resulting to a very cheap price. Other than letting you experience virtual reality cheaply, it is also universal as it supports a wide range of smartphone models to work with.
Its prices vary depending on the model which is usually around $19 to $30. The list is short but it doesn’t mean that it is all. There are a lot more especially, VR devices for your mobile phones.
