ZTE unveils Blade V8 Pro and crowdfunded Hawkeye smartphones


CES in Las Vegas witnessed some eye ball catching tech innovations and when it comes to surprises, how can ZTE stay behind. ZTE chief took to the stage in Las Vegas and served two new Smartphones to us namely Hawkeye and Blade V8. Couldn’t get the surprise yet?

Kickstarter Funded Hawkeye supports Eye Tracking

The surprising part about ZTE Hawkeye is its eye tracking and self adhesive properties while as Blade V8 Pro is the first Smartphone from ZTE flaunting dualA� 13-mp cameras at the back side. ZTE Hawkeye can make your Smartphone experience much more delightful as it is capable of scrolling through pages and images present in your gallery by tracking your eye movement. Although not a mandatory feature but its worth mentioning that Hawkeye comes with an optional case which flaunts a self adhesive stick capable of sticking to flat surfaces and can make your hands-free experience hassle free. Rest of the assets possessed by Hawkeye includes a 5.5-inch full HD display, a fingerprint sensor, Hi-Fi audio, dual SIM slots, expandable SD card storage, Android Nougat OS, and fast charging capabilities.

Blade V8 Pro has dual 13-mp Cameras

The exclusive feature of ZTE Blade V8 pro is the possession of 13-megapixel dual cameras at the back with phase detection autofocus and dual-LED flash. The rest of the features include an 8-megapixel selfie snapper, a 5.5-inch full HD IPS LCD display, an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC chipset and clocked at 2.0GHz and coupled with 3GB of RAM. ZTE V8 Blade pro comes with 32GB of internal storage, Android Marshmallow OS, 4G LTE, NFC, a USB Type-C port, and a 3,140mAh battery.

Kickstarter has listed ZTE Hawkeye for 199 USD which is around Rs 13500 in India and is estimated to be delivered by the month of September 2017. Whereas Blade V8 Pro is available at a hefty price tag of 229.98 USD which is around Rs 15600 in India, however its currently available for pre-order in U.S.
