No Normandy from Nokia, wearables planned instead

Nokia was working on secretly on its mission named as ‘Normandy’, an Android device, but some source suggests that, the Nokia team has abandoned the idea of working on Android device; instead they have shifted their plans and have started working on Wearable devices. The wearable device will include smart glasses. The Chinese website C-technology has claimed that this is not very good piece of news given by Nokia team. The Chinese publication suggests that they were working on Smartphone with great features like 7-inch of long screen, with a powerful Snapdragon 400 chip set. But however, the reports are true, they are working on Smart glasses instead of Smartphone.

The earlier report related to this section suggested that , Nokia’s project code named ‘Normandy’, will be expected to get released in early 2014. Nokia was following guide of Amazon, as was working on a forked version of Android device, like the huge Kindle Fire tablet. But now they have changed the plans and switched to concentrating more on wearable glasses. This rising technology will have flexible display, augmented reality, low-power electromagnetic division and wireless transmission of power. Sound more interesting! These wearable glasses will be expected to establish itself in the market by 2015 or so. To our unfortunate part, there is no more part of news shared other than this.

But surely the news is making rounds and round in the market, with ‘Nokia working on Smartphone with multiple display.’ The Finnish Smart-watch appears much like a bracelet with multi-display. Nokia has also registered itself under patent for a foldable ‘Battery Pack’. The company defines this patent as a battery consisting of series of cell that can be folded by grouping or collectively.

Can’t say, need to double check, as no such official announcement was made by the officials. Hope, we get a good news to hear from these officials.
