Moto G to be Launched by end of January in India

Moto G is one of the most awaited smartphones, Motorola Mobility tweeted that launch for India is pegged for last week of January. Moto G will be a quad-core phone but cheaper as compared to other smartphones available in Moto series. Moto G is already launched in US market and also some other countries in this month. The dual SIM version of Moto G will be available in some limited countries (India, China and Brazil). Moto G is not yet released but looking at the specifications of it and considering price of earlier releases from Motorola we can guess the lumsum price for Moto G. It is expected that 8 GB version of Moto G will have retail price of Rs 12990 and 32 GB variant of Moto G will have retail price of Rs 15499.

There is no official confirmation from Motorola about the release date or price for Moto G. There are many people who are waiting for Moto G and so there are strong chances that it will be sold out very soon after its release in January. Moto G is powered with Andriod 4.4 KitKat. There is a 4.5-inch bright and vivid LCD display that gives resolution of 1280 x 720 HD display at 329 pixels. Screen size is a bit small as compared to other smartphones available in market but has got a very good quality. Moto G also has 1.2GHz quad-core processor powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 SoC which is supported by 1 GB RAM. Two variant of Moto G will be available with 16 GB and 32 GB internal storage. There is a 5 MP camera at rear side of phone with HDR and panoramic support. For video calling, it has 1.3 MP camera at front. It also has 2070 mAh battery inside.

User will get an additional advantage with purchase of Moto G. Google is offering free 64 GB cloud storage with every purchase. As phone stands in mid-range smartphones so we cannot expect some extra ordinary performance and this thing is also clear with the phone specifications. Moto G is also missing LTE connectivity which is one of the main features for any smartphone. Moto G is Google’s step to make affordable android phones available in Indian market.
