The news for Software updates is declared. The devices will be updated to Android 5.0 Lollipop, presently Sprint is set to update to Android 5.0 Lollipop on the HTC One M8 device and the LG G3.
Owners of HTC One M8 and LG G3 have something to look forward to, as those phones on Sprint are now scheduled to be upgraded to latest operating system, the Android 5.0 Lollipop. Android Central reports claim that Sprint is all set to update the two devices to the latest O.S. in February 2015 itself.
As per the news Sprint HTC One M8, both Harman and Kardon edition are scheduled to receive Lollipop on 13 February 2015, so also the device LG G3 will receive this Android 5.0 Lollipop on February 16th.
Though there is a bottom line for this news that both these dates are subject to change, but the change of dates are remote as its quite late now for this. Sprint will be updating One M8 on 13 February, with these updates the HTC One M 8 shall join the ranks of HTC’s One M7 and Samsung’s Galaxy S5 on Sprint which already have Android 5.0 Lollipop software.
Like in case of all software updates all the customers will not get update in one go, while the customers will be updated in batch? And the customers are advised to have and use Wi-Fi connection and the device should have the battery charged to the tune of 50 % minimum.
This new Android 5.0 Lollipop has newer features like unified User experience and enhanced notifications. The software also has newer features like material design bringing complex views and fluid animations to the devices, and most important aspect being battery saver feature.
