Galaxy Note 3 Neo launched in South Korea gets a Snapdragon 800

We have already seen many versions of Samsung Galaxy S4 with Active, Zoom, LTE-A, Mini, Black Edition, Now it looks like Samsung is planning to give similar treatment to Galaxy Note 3. Samsung has recently introduced their Galaxy Note 3 Neo and now they have launched a variant of it in their home city. Samasung’s official Korean website has already announced Samsung Galaxy Note 3 availability and it is on sell from 3rd March.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo

We have seen a LTE-A version of Galaxy Note 3 Neo available in South Korea powered with a Snapdragon 800 chipset. If we refer specification provided by Samsung then Galaxy Note 3 Neo comes with a quad-core 2.3GHz processor. This processor can not be Exynos 5 Hexa. It can also not have Snapdragon 400 one because Cortex-A7 CPU cannot go above 1.7 GHZ, only option we are left with is Snapdragon 800 chipset and its quad-core 2.3GHz Krait 400 processor.

It is not surprising that Samsung is releasing upgraded models because they have done same with Galaxy S4. After releasing Galaxy S4 (S600), they released another variant that was S800-powered. S800 variant was released in South Korea first and after that they released it in other markets. They have very short time gap between releases and so it makes buyers to regret their earlier purchase. We would like to hear your thoughts on it. Please reply on same in comments.
