BlackBerry 10 may start running native Android Apps


Android devices are best known for their application support and now Blackberry 10 users can also enjoy Android applications on their devices. Blackberry is contacting to Android app and game developers to get their native android applications on Blackberry World app Marketplace. If this get implemented then Blackberry 10 users can use the android applications directly on their blackberry devices. It is expected that the next firmware update for blackberry will get the native android .apk file support.

There are a very small changes to be done by developers to make it possible. According to a report from digital publishing, they had talked with four android developers at CES 2014 and they have agreed that Blackberry contacted them to get android app published on Blackberry 10 directly. Android app developers only have to create BlackBerry world profile and submit icons. Other than this, they also have to add screenshots and application descriptions and those already existing application will be available on Blackberry 10 app world.

All the Blackberry 10 users will be able to download and install these apps directly from Blackberry World app Marketplace in the same way as other applications. Blackberry Q5, Q10, Z10 and Z30 are also included into it. According to Good e-Reader, this new feature can be availed with BlackBerry 10.3 update.
