AT&T wants to make their payment plan for Next Smartphone more attractive so that it can be highlighted among the users. AT&T is now offering Next upgrades within six months for existing contracted customers. You will be eligible for this plan only if you were under two-year service agreement before January 18th. There are actually two conditions that AT&T has put for the upgrade. You should be one of the contracted customers and it must be at least six months of contract.
If you are meeting these requirements then you can go for a Next plan. Best thing is, you dont have to give any termination fee or upgrade fee. There will be only tax payment when you get your new phone and normal interest-free surcharge for your monthly bill. So for all the users who have recently started the contact can avail the deal after completion of 6 months. To encourage customers, AT&T offers to offset some or all of the staggered monthly charge. AT&T wants their customers to be with them and so they are coming with such plans.
All the major mobile service providers keeps coming with such plan and upgrade plan from AT&T is made for the same purpose. T-Mobile’s is also offering their customers to pay off early termination fees from other carriers. On the other hand, Sprint is also providing “Framily” plan and under it, customers will get lower rate. So, such plans from different network providers are tactics to retain their customers.
